Company

DecisionMetrics was launched in 2004 by former Scorex UK directors, Gary Scott and Andrew Jennings with the aim of building an analytics company that would trade independently of the credit bureaux and thus provide scorecards utilising the data of any, or potentially multiple, credit bureaux without external influence.

There was also a desire for DecisionMetrics to push against the commoditisation and standardisation of scorecards and return to model building where the sole aim is to maximise the potential of the data.

Specialising in the selective use of multiple credit searches within a lending strategy, DecisionMetrics not only builds multi-bureau scorecards but also provides the implementation software that allows additional bureau links to be accommodated without the need for extensive system changes or the redevelopment of credit policy and underwriting screens.

To further enhance the quallity of lending decisions, DecisionMetrics also provides both generic and bespoke affordability models designed to be used in conjunction with risk models so that the assessment of over-indebtedness is fully catered for within a lender's risk strategy.
