Utilising the latest technology, DecisionStrategy is a new breed of decision engine that offers the highest levels of flexibility in credit strategy configuration and change, the management and control of which is fully in the hands of the User.
The decision process offers complete flexibility so that the application of policy rules, multiple scorecards, hooks to external systems, interfaces to credit bureaux and any decision tool can be used and re-used at any point in the process flow and this strategy can be simply amended and managed by the credit department using the integrated Strategy Control System.
The Strategy Control System provides a further level of sophistication via multi-level parameterisation that enables the credit strategy to be varied automatically to suit differing business requirements. For example, lending criteria might need to differ across different ‘introducers’ or by financial products or any combination of criteria meaning that any complex credit strategy can catered for and configured with in-built flexibility for change.
Another unique feature is that scorecards developed by DecisionMetrics can be read into DecisionStrategy automatically, significantly reducing the time required for scorecard implementation. An additional benefit is that the computer code that actually created the scorecard is the code that is used to implement it, thereby removing the single largest cause of scorecard errors.
Connectivity to external systems or data sources is also straightforward and DecisionStrategy has interfaces to all three consumer credit bureaux and can cater for the most complex multi-bureau strategies.
